Mr Fenwick moves to Verde Corporate Finance following a period as Finance Director at Wild Water Group. Prior to this role Mr Fenwick spent 28 years in accountancy practice including 21 years at PWC where he originally trained and 7 years as a director in the Corporate Finance team of regional firm Broomfield Alexander.

At Verde Corporate Finance, Mr Fenwick will work closely with Craig Blackmore as the business continues to develop its business offering to the regions fastest growing SME’s.

Mr Fenwick said “I am delighted to be joining the GS Verde Group at a very exciting stage in its development and look forward to working with Nigel, Craig and the team to grow the business going forward and deliver a first class service to clients.”

On the appointment Mr Blackmore said “I am delighted to welcome Mike to the Verde team. He brings with him some great experience and also adds to the skills we have within the team. I’m sure that the ability to provide advice on grant funding alongside corporate finance advisory services will prove very popular with new and existing clients. We are very excited about the future prospects for Verde and the GS Verde Group as a whole and I am sure Mike will play a very important part in that.”

Verde Corporate Finance is in a unique position in Wales as the only corporate finance lead advisory business that operates within a multidiscipline group including corporate law firm Greenaway Scott and patent attorney business Alchemie IP.

The GS Verde Group was founded in 2013 and has experienced exponential growth since its establishment. Within the last 12 months the Group has advised upon a number of high profile transactions including the management buy-out at Paramount Office Interiors, disposal of multi-million pound telecom business Project Vale in March 2019 and numerous early stage funding mandates.

CEO and Co-Founder of the GS Verde Group, Nigel Greenaway said “we are really pleased to welcome Mike to the team. The appointment will strengthen the Verde team and broaden the base as it continues to grow and develop”.
