Leading UK timber supplier, Premier Forest Products, is celebrating after winning two categories including the overall Timber Trader of the Year prize at the 2025 Timber Trades Journal (TTJ) Awards.

The Newport-headquartered business also won Timber Garden Product Supplier of the Year at the annual awards ceremony, held at the Hilton London Bankside on Friday 19 September.

Premier Forest was shortlisted for four awards at this year’s TTJ Awards, which have been running since 1997, all in the voted for categories. These categories recognise service excellence and product quality across the timber industry with voting open to customers throughout the supply chain.

Terry Edgell, Co-founder and CEO of Premier Forest Products said: “We’re incredibly proud to have won two categories at this year’s TTJ Awards, especially as both were voted for by our customers. It shows that the emphasis we place on customer satisfaction is finally being recognised in an industry-leading arena, and to win the overall Timber Trader of the Year award for the first time is incredible.

“Whilst the industry has been facing a tough time, we’ve taken the chance to heavily invest in our people, machinery and supply chain, listening to our customers to make sure we provide them with the service they want. Our work has clearly paid off, but that doesn’t mean we’re done. At Premier Forest we’re constantly evolving to address new client needs and now, with these wins, we have a marker for success that we will keep aiming for with each coming year. A big thank you to everyone who voted for us.”
