The Farmers’ Union of Wales has reacted cautiously to a Welsh Government statement setting out a timetable for moving from the Basic Payment Scheme to a new system post-Brexit, stressing that protecting family farms and our rural communities must be central to any future policy.

Rhug Farm Shop is delighted to have won Wales Retailer of the Year at the 2018 Farm Shop & Deli Awards being held in the NEC in Birmingham today.
Organic meat, including Welsh lamb, bison, chicken and turkey, produced on the Rhug Estate in Corwen, Denbighshire, north Wales, is the first in Wales to be granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment to HRH The Prince of Wales. As well as supplying organic meat to HRH, the farm can also put the Three Feathers Badge on the meat it produces for customers.
