South Wales Police is appealing for information following a serious assault which took place in Llandaff Fields, Cardiff, yesterday morning (Monday, November 10).
Officers were called to the park at around 5.30am after reports of an incident. A 55-year-old man was taken to hospital with stab wounds, which are described as non-life-threatening.

Detective Inspector Bob Chambers said: “Understandably the local community, and users of the park, will be concerned by what has taken place. This is an isolated incident, and the motive is currently unknown.
“Extensive enquiries are ongoing and there will be an increased police presence in the area while we establish the circumstances of this incident. The support of the community is very much appreciated, and we appeal for anyone with information or concerns to please contact police.”
