Leading UK timber supplier Premier Forest Products has celebrated success at the C2S Business Awards 2026, winning the Growth Award in recognition of its landmark period of strategic growth and expansion.
The business was also Highly Commended in the Large Business of the Year category, further recognising its outstanding performance and achievements.
The annual C2S Business Awards recognises organisations and individuals who demonstrate outstanding leadership, innovation, and impact. These awards celebrate those driving positive change and setting new standards in business and community engagement.
The 2026 awards ceremony, held at the Cheltenham Racecourse, recognised achievements in categories such as innovation, growth, and leadership.
Premier Forest celebrated its win in the Growth category for its recent growth following strategic acquisitions, operational investment and nationwide expansion, growing to 25 UK sites with its workforce increasing from 430 to around 800 employees through the acquisitions and organic growth.
The business was recognised for safeguarding jobs during recent acquisitions as well as investing over £1.5 million in advanced machinery and automation across multiple locations, significantly increasing production efficiency automation while also expanding into new markets.
By combining rapid commercial growth with innovation, job creation and long-term investment in people, Premier Forest has set a benchmark for sustainable business growth.
Terry Edgell, Co-founder & CEO of Premier Forest Products, said: “Winning the Growth Award is a fantastic milestone for Premier Forest and one that reflects the incredible commitment, ambition, and hard work of our entire team.
“To also be Highly Commended in the Large Business of the Year category makes this recognition even more special. I’m immensely proud of what we’ve achieved together and of the sustainable growth we’ve built through innovation, collaboration, and a relentless focus on delivering for our customers.
“We’re excited about the opportunities ahead and remain focused on investing in our people, driving further innovation, and continuing our growth journey while delivering exceptional value to our customers.”
Neil Davies, Chief Financial and Operating Officer, said: “Taking home this award is a proud moment for Premier Forest. This award is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our team.
“As Premier Forest look to the future, a key priority for us is ensuring that our organisational design evolves in line with the growth of the business. This means putting the right structures, leadership capability, and ways of working in place to support increased scale, complexity and ambition, ensuring we are well positioned to deliver sustainable long-term growth.”
