    Principality confirms Iain Mansfield as new Chief Executive Officer

    Iain Mansfield will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer at Principality Building Society on 21st November

    Principality Building Society is pleased to confirm that Iain Mansfield will formally assume the role of Chief Executive Officer on 21 November 2025.

    Iain Mansfield has served as Chief Financial Officer since 2022 and as a Board Member since 2019. He has held a series of senior executive positions, including Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director, Nemo. A member of the Society’s Board since 2019 and a chartered accountant, his broad remit has included strategy, finance, commercial lending, legal, procurement, change, IT and operations.

    He has experience across retail banking, start-ups and private equity-backed consumer financial services business across the UK.

    He will succeed Julie‑Ann Haines, who will remain in post until the 20th of November, before starting a new position in the summer of 2026.

    Simon Moore, Chair, said: “The Board is delighted to appoint Iain as Principality’s next Chief Executive Officer. His drive and depth of experience is exactly what the Society needs to lead Principality into its next chapter with purpose, pace and clarity.
