    RDP Law announces launch of new family services division

    Regional law firm RDP Law has announced the launch of their specialist Family team, which will be headed by Matthew Wells. Matthew previously headed up the Family team at one of Wales’ largest firms and joins RDP as a partner.

    The family team will provide a full range of bespoke family law services (including wealth protection and advising on the financial aspects of relationship breakdown) with a particular emphasis on representation for the firm’s high net worth, commercial and agricultural client bases.

    RDP director, James Davies said: “We feel that there’s a requirement within the market for matrimonial advice that is inherently commercial, and which is targeted at individuals and families who own and run businesses or else who have more complex asset structures. Our goal is to offer a bespoke, highly personal matrimonial advice service that will reach into the other areas of the practice in order to seek counsel and support therein. Any divorce or family trauma event needs, we feel, to be met by a legal service that is fluent not merely in matrimonial law but also the wider business interest of the individual in question”.

    Matthew Wells said: “I am delighted to have joined RDP Law and I feel that with the launch of our forward-looking Family team backed up by the enviable expertise of our commercial, agricultural, cyber and private client teams we will provide the first-rate holistic advice our Family clients require.“
