The renowned Spanish restaurant group behind Asador 44 (Cardiff) and Bar 44 (Cardiff, Bristol and Penarth) will kick off the new year with an exciting and interactive offer to beat the January blues.

Starting from 3rd January, customers visiting any Bar 44 restaurant, or the acclaimed Asador 44 in Cardiff, will have the chance to roll a custom-made dice for a chance to win up to 44% off their entire restaurant bill. The playful twist on a January sale is set to run Monday to Friday throughout the month.

    What’s the deal?

When asking for their bill, guests dining at Bar 44 or Asador 44 can ask to roll a custom-made dice first – with every roll resulting in one of the following exciting prizes:

    • 44% off the bill
    • 22% off the bill
    • 10% off the bill
    • 5% off the bill
    • Bar 44 Cookery Book
    • £5 voucher to use on the next visit

The discount applies to all food and drink on the bill, adding an element of surprise and fun to every dining experience throughout January. But beware—if the dice falls off the table, no deal!

    How It Works

    • Available Monday to Friday starting 3rd January, subject to opening hours.
    • Valid at Bar 44 Penarth, Cardiff, Clifton Village, and Asador 44 Cardiff.
    • Each table gets one roll per visit (one bill per table)
    • If the dice falls off the table, no discount or offer applies!
    • You must ask to roll the dice when you request your bill
    • At Asador 44, the discount applies to the à la carte menu only
    • The max table size who can roll the dice is four in Asador 44, and six in Bar 44.
    • Asador 44 will be closed from 6th – 10th January for refurbishments

44 Group co-founder Natalie Isaac shared her enthusiasm for the promotion, saying, “We wanted to create a unique and memorable way to thank our customers for their incredible support over the years. Rolling the dice injects a bit of fun and unpredictability into the experience—and harks back to our early days in Bar 44 where we used to let customers’ flip a coin to win their round for free. We’re really looking forward to seeing it in action!”

Founded in 2002 by siblings Owen Morgan, Natalie Isaac, and Tom Morgan, the 44 Group has grown from its humble beginnings with the first Bar 44 restaurant in Cowbridge to become a cornerstone of Spanish dining in South Wales and the West Country.

The group now operates three Bar 44 restaurants and the critically acclaimed Asador 44, alongside the boutique hotel Parador 44 in Cardiff. Known for its impeccably sourced ingredients and modern yet passionate approach to Spanish cuisine, Bar 44 continues to elevate dining experiences for its loyal customers.
