Pobl Living have officially opened the doors to their brand-new Sales & Marketing Suite at Chartist Garden Village and are inviting anyone who is interested in purchasing a home at the site to come and have a look around the gorgeous show home, a four bedroom ‘Humberstone’.

The Sales team are currently taking registers of interest for the first homes to be completed on the development, which are due to be ready in Summer 2023.

Chartist Garden Village occupies an enviable position adjacent to Sir Harold Finch Memorial Park in the popular village of Pontllanfraith.

The new development consists of 123 properties, including 40 one, two, three and four-bedroom homes for open market sale, 40 affordable shared ownership homes and 43 affordable homes for rent.

The scheme has been designed around the principles of a Garden Village, which combines traditional design with contemporary craftmanship and will create a vibrant and healthy place to live.

Jo Read, Sales and Marketing Manager at Pobl Living, said:

“This beautiful show home is the latest example of the high-quality, affordable housing that we are offering at Pobl Living. I would encourage anyone who is interested to come and see it for themselves and to get a feel for the distinctive and special place that is Chartist Garden Village.”

James Duffett, Regional Managing Director at Lovell, said: “It’s great to see that the show home is now open for local property seekers to tour. Our site team at Lovell has been working hard to make sure this development is the best it can be, and we’re thrilled at how well construction work is progressing. Chartist Garden Village is a great example of a true partnership working between Pobl, Caerphilly County Borough Councill and Lovell. We can’t wait to see the first residents move in.”

Cllr Shayne Cook, Cabinet Member for Housing at Caerphilly County Borough Council, commented “It’s fantastic to see the progress being made on what will be a flagship development.  We’re delighted to be working in partnership with Pobl and Lovell to deliver this project, which will deliver much needed affordable housing in a desirable location of the county borough.”

Anyone wishing to view the show home can visit during the following hours (appointments are not necessary):

    • Tuesday, 13:00 – 17:00
    • Wednesday – Saturday, 11:00 – 17:00
