Cardiff Bay’s Simply Gym is celebrating National Fitness Day on September 23 with a range of new classes for its members.

Located at Cardiff’s leading entertainment destination, The Red Dragon Centre, the state-of-the-art gym is inviting new and existing members to come along to the centre and try out one of the many fitness classes on offer. The classes are included free within users’ gym memberships.

New members can also benefit from an exclusive National Fitness Day offer, with joining fees being waived for gym memberships on the day. The offer can be enjoyed by directly contacting the gym.

Among the events planned for National Fitness Day are the new releases of the popular Les Mills classes, including BodyAttack, BodyCombat and BodyPump. The updated workouts, led by Simply Gym’s expert instructors, are designed to build gym users’ fitness through whole body exercises to energising music and are suitable for gym goers of all levels.

Other classes taking place at Simply Gym on National Fitness Day include virtual indoor cycling, pilates, Synrgy workouts and yoga. There will also be the chance to win prizes throughout the day with gym floor challenges.

Rhys Jenkins, General Manager at Simply Gym, said: “We are excited to be running a variety of our favourite classes, along with the new Les Mills workouts, to celebrate National Fitness Day.

“With a renewed focus on health and keeping physically fit this year, we look forward to welcoming our members to our socially distanced classes and helping them lead active lifestyles.”

All sessions can be booked through Simply Gym’s app 48 hours in advance.
