St David’s Cardiff is set to round off the year on a high with a wave of exciting new brands launching in time for the festive season.

Traditional sweet store Mr Simms, fashion favourite Mango, menswear label Moss and toy giant LEGO have all launched new stores at the city destination in recent weeks. And there’s more to come, with global beauty sensation Sephora, K-beauty brand PURESEOUL, and the newly announced Charles Tyrwhitt plus Which Wich® set to make their Welsh debuts before the festive season.

Nostalgic sweet store Mr Simms sells everything from British favourites, fudges, retro and hard-boiled sweets, liquorice, sugar-free sweets, and American imports. Its first Welsh location is now open in St David’s Cathedral Walk mall.

Meanwhile, Mango has unveiled its first South Wales store, showcasing the brand’s new interior design concept. The new 5,300 sq ft store is located on the Upper Level of the Grand Arcade and features Mango’s collection of contemporary and versatile womenswear, inspired by the Mediterranean.

Moss has also stepped up with a bigger and better 3,153 sq ft store, designed to offer a standout experience for guests, with a rebranded look and feel. Located in St David’s Grand Arcade, Moss’ collection ranges from premium Italian-made suits to versatile casualwear, as well as ready-to-wear, hire and custom-made tailoring.

And the big launches don’t stop there: Sephora will officially arrive on 23rd October, kicking off another run of new openings.

British menswear brand Charles Tyrwhitt will make its Welsh debut at St David’s pre-Christmas, offering a curated range of formal tailoring, smart-casual staples, knitwear and accessories.

In addition, Which Wich® Superior Sandwiches, the award-winning premium Texan sandwich chain is en route to St David’s. It will offer fully-customisable hot and cold sandwiches with 40 toppings plus sides, dipping sauces, salads, lettuce wraps, and breakfast pots. With 230 stores in the United States, the Cardiff announcement marks Which Wich’s third UK location, its first outside London, and its first in Wales.

The countdown is also on for K-beauty brand PURESEOUL to open this year, with sporting giant JD Sports as well as Hollywood Bowl’s multi-level family-entertainment complex already confirmed for Spring 2026.

Helen Morgan, Centre Director of St David’s Cardiff, commented: “We may be heading into the last few months of the year, but St David’s is ending 2025 with a bang. We’re welcoming incredible brands that shoppers have been asking for with even more to come in 2026.”
