The highly anticipated Cardiff Wine Festival will return for its 4th edition later this year.

Taking place on 16th and 17th May, and promising two days of wine tastings across three sittings, the Cardiff Wine Festival is organised by Cardiff Wine Events – a collaboration between WinesnVines (independent wine merchants) and Vinitalia (operators of popular Cardiff Italian restaurant, Casanova).

This year, the event will move to a new home at The Hilton for 2025 – embracing a chic blend of classic-meets-contemporary luxury, the new venue will provide an elegant setting to spend the day trying out a variety of delicious and interesting wines and spirits.

The walk-around event will showcase over 300 wines and spirits with special food pairings, giving attendees a unique opportunity to taste and purchase the products at leisure. With a number of Italian producers flying over especially to showcase their wines, Wales based importers Spanish Wines will also have a big presence at this year’s event, joined by many of their favourite producers from Spain.

In addition, the 2025 Cardiff Wine Festival will feature a programme of masterclasses, local artists, and a wine raffle which will raise money for the organiser’s chosen charity, Cardiff City Hospice.

Cardiff Wine Festival co-founders Robert Maggi and Luca Montuori said “Our mission has always been to celebrate high quality wines produced by small wineries and to bring together producers from around the world to share their passion with us. We welcomed over a thousand guests to the Cardiff Wine Festival last year – and we can’t wait to do the same again 2025!”

    2025 Festival Highlights:

    • 50+ Exhibitors: meet winemakers, distillers and producers from the UK and beyond.
    • 300+ Wines and Spirits: sample a diverse range of premium wines and spirits.
    • Food Pairings: carefully curated food pairings will elevate the tasting experience.
    • Masterclasses: participate in educational sessions led by industry experts.
    • Local Artists: Enjoy performances and works by talented Welsh artists.

Tickets for the 2025 Cardiff Wine Festival are on sale now, with early bird prices starting at £19.99; with last year’s event being a sell-out success, early bookings are encouraged at: https://www.cardiffwinefestival.com/events/cardiff-wine-festival-2025

Organisers are also keen to speak to potential sponsors for this year’s event who are keen to connect with a wine-loving audience from South Wales – packages start from just £250. To find out more, contact [email protected]
