Traditional three-bedroom South Wales terraced house on offer for just £9,000

A traditional three-bedroom mid terraced South Wales house is for sale for less than the price of a decent second-hand family car.

In a pleasing secluded side street, 4 Cadwgan Terrace, in a village close to the bustling town of Pontypridd is for sale at auction with a guide price of just £9,000.

In the village of Trehafod in between Pontypridd and Porth, the house now needs an upgrade after being let out for the past few years.

Sean Roper, of South Wales-based Paul Fosh Auctions, said: “The terraced house has all the basics in place which, once renovated, will make it into a lovely family home.

“The garden needs some strenuous efforts to bring it under control but all in all, this presents a wonderful opportunity for a new owner to put their own stamp on this traditional property.

“And what’s more the house is in a quiet street with some marvellous views across the local countryside.”

“The property has been let for a number of years and now requires upgrading but benefits from UPVC double glazing and gas central heating (not tested).

“The village of Tehafod is ideally situated for access to local amenities, larger supermarkets and shops in Porth and Pontypridd and the new transport hub and train station in Porth town centre.”

The house currently has two reception rooms, a kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor with a landing and the three bedrooms above with an overgrown garden to the rear.

Renovated properties in the area can achieve up to £800 per calendar month in rental.

The house, along with eighty plus other lots, is included in the Paul Fosh Auctions sale which starts at 12 noon on Tuesday, June 24 and ends from 5pm on Thursday, June 26.
