IT and communications firm SA1 Solutions has appointed two new members of staff as the company seeks to further enhance its support team and develop new talent.

The Swansea-based company recently hired Alex Abraham and Ryan John as IT engineers. Their appointments add to SA1 Solutions’ recent recruitment surge, with the company having hired four new members of staff within the last six months.

[aoa id=”1″]Abraham, from Swansea, approached SA1 Solutions seeking a job due to his interest in IT and desire to work in the industry. Impressed with his ambition, the company put him in touch with training company Swansea iTec, which has enabled him to now pursue a level 3 apprenticeship with SA1 Solutions. Having previously worked as an apprentice data recovery technician as well as completing a BTEC in ICT, Abraham’s new role will provide him with the opportunity to develop his skills through on-the-job training by SA1 Solutions’ professional engineers and offsite training delivered by Swansea ITeC.[/aoa]

John, also from Swansea, recently graduated with a first-class honours degree in computer networks from the University of Portsmouth. In addition to his degree, he has an extended level 3 diploma in ICT. While studying for his degree, John worked as a first line network support engineer. His new role at SA1 Solutions will allow him to further develop his IT career through gaining more varied experience, especially through working alongside the company’s support team.

Simon Ahearne, managing director at SA1 Solutions, said:

“We are so pleased to be welcoming two more staff members to the team during this exciting time at the company. Alex and Ryan both have a strong skills base and solid IT experience behind them. I’m confident they will make a great addition to our helpdesk and will soon progress to help in other areas of the company while expanding their knowledge.

“Our staff base has grown significantly over recent months, which is a result of a growing client base beyond the South Wales region. Being able to develop new talent in-house enables us to provide a consistent and professional service to our clients. Our recent growth proves that this approach is successful, and we look forward to building upon this with our new employees’ support.”
