Two new tenants have recently joined the growing community of innovative businesses at the Bridge Innovation Centre (BIC) in Pembroke Dock.

JCT EHS Ltd, a training and consultancy company working in the construction sector, was established in 1997 as a family run business and Director Tanya Cooze-Smith is now bringing training to the BIC.

Whitestone Media Group has also recently moved into new offices at the Bridge Innovation Centre, Pembroke Dock as part of their expansion plans. Whitestone Media was founded during lockdown in 2020 by Dayne and Liby Stone with the aim to provide businesses with low-cost, highly effective media, marketing and website design at a time when visibility meant survival.

In response to significant increases in demand for construction specific training and consultancy, JCT has expanded its services and identified a need for a dedicated training facility. Having already utilised the BIC to deliver training, it seemed to be the perfect solution to the company’s needs.

Speaking about her relocation to the centre, Tanya said: “The facilities and support from the team at BIC have made a huge difference to what we can offer, enabling us to deliver professional, high-quality training and better support our clients. We are excited about the months ahead and look forward to working closely with our partners and clients as, together, we continue to grow and develop.”

‘The business world was turned on its head during the pandemic and we found our skills in demand in order to help companies adapt to the new normal, keep trading and find new ways to excel’, said Liby, of Whitestone Media Group.

Six years on, Whitestone now supports thousands of businesses, managing hundreds of websites every month and driving consistent digital growth across multiple sectors. The team has designed and printed more than 3,000,000 leaflets, banners, business cards and promotional materials, alongside delivering filming projects across five continents.

Operating from the Bridge Innovation Centre strengthens Whitestone’s ability to collaborate, support and champion local enterprise while continuing to deliver results on a wider stage.

Peter Lord, the Councils Principal Officer for Business Development said: “We are pleased to welcome another innovative company into the Bridge Innovation Centre. Whitestone bring a new element to the mix of tenants at the Centre and we look forward to supporting them in their growth.”

BIC Business Coordinator, Michelle Francis added: “We are delighted to welcome Tanya and the JCT team as tenants. Women remain under-represented in traditionally male-dominated sectors and so we are especially pleased that Tanya has chosen to headquarter her business at the BIC. We look forward to supporting JCT’s continued development here in Pembrokeshire.”
