R4 Advertising has opened a new office at Battersea Power Station as the independent media agency continues to expand across the UK and international markets.

The London office forms part of the agency’s wider growth strategy following a series of major client wins and continued investment in its team and commercial operation.

The expansion has already created eight new roles, with R4 expecting to create 20 new positions by the end of 2026.

It follows a period of commercial growth for the agency, including several major new contracts, among them eight-figure agreements, alongside an expansion of its work across European markets.

From its new Battersea Power Station base, R4 will support a growing portfolio of UK and international clients across sectors including retail, automotive, sport, leisure, live entertainment, wellbeing and FMCG.

Recent partnerships secured by the agency include Dr Wills, Gem, Jude, Revive Collagen, Silk’n, Get More Vits, Global Brands, Harlequins, Six Nations, The Trade Centre Group and Delaware.

At the centre of R4’s growth is its Trade. Plan. Activate. model, which connects the commercial economics of media with audience intelligence, planning and activation.

Through Volume-Based Discount (VBD), the agency makes the commercial value generated by media investment visible, while its Annual Media Commitment model allows brands making longer-term commitments to turn buying power into greater contracted media value.

Now in its fifth year, R4 Advertising is continuing with the growth plans set out by founder and CEO Matt Jones MBE at the beginning of 2026.

Commenting on the launch of the agency’s London location, Matt said: “London isn’t simply another office for us. It’s an important part of the next stage of R4.

“We’ve built a model that is commercially different, we’re winning increasingly significant mandates, and we’re now building the team and presence to match that ambition.

“Battersea gives us a base at the centre of one of the world’s most important advertising markets, but this is bigger than London. We’re building an independent media business capable of competing internationally.

“We’ve got the clients, we’ve got the model, and now we’re investing aggressively in the people who can help us take it further.”

Aaron Corria, Director of People and Expansion at R4 Advertising, added: “Our immediate priority is building a high-calibre London team around the growth we’re already seeing.

“We’ve created eight roles as part of the initial expansion and expect that number to reach 20 by the end of the year.

“We’re looking for commercially ambitious people who want to help build something, rather than simply step into something that’s already been built.”

R4 Advertising is the rebrand of Rebel Lion Advertising. Born in Cardiff, the agency now has offices in London and Manchester, alongside a presence in New York as it continues to develop its international footprint.
