A stunning housing development in Swansea, financed by Principality Commercial and developed by Westacres, will provide an array of high-quality homes to families in the area.

Situated in the heart of Caswell Bay, Summerland housing development will provide 30 luxurious homes to the open market through Westacres, with a further 31 homes being developed on an affordable basis for Pobl Group; 19 of these are 3-bedroom family homes being sold through shared ownership.

The detached properties, which will be built to an exceptional standard consist of three to five spacious bedrooms and an open plan kitchen. The first homes are expected to complete by September 2019, with prices starting from £400,000.

The Summerland development is the second successful development that Principality Commercial, the commercial arm of Wales’ largest building society, and Westacres, associate company of Morganstone, have undertaken to provide high quality housing to families in Wales.

Stephen Ryan, Relationship Manager at Principality Building Society said:

“This is another exciting development and partnership between Principality and Llanelli-based developers Westacres Homes. It’s clear to see the desirability of the homes, built to a high standard and situated between the picturesque beaches of Langland Bay and Caswell Bay.

“This is one of the schemes we have been working on in the region as we continue to work with local developers to finance schemes that provide housing and work to local communities.”

Ian Morgan, Managing Director, Morganstone said: “We are delighted to continue our excellent relationship with Principality Commercial, by choosing them as our funding partner on our prestigious development at Summerland, Caswell. It is extremely important for us at Westacres to work with partners that share our vision and values for the developments that we propose and undertake.”

The development from Principality Commercial follows on from other successful projects across South Wales, including an extensive homebuilding project at the Mill in Cardiff.
