A new tender process to build a replacement facility for a special school in north Powys is to be carried out, the county council has said. Powys County Council will be seeking new contractors to build the new facility for Brynllywarch Hall School, located in Kerry near Newtown. A farmer who sustained serious injuries on her family farm has welcomed news the Welsh Government is providing £80,000 to help improve the safety of farmers, their families, and visitors to farms in Wales. North Wales sheep and beef farmer Beca Glyn has first-hand experience of what can go wrong on a farm after sustaining serious injuries in a quad bike accident on her family farm in 2018.
