Thrive Group Wales, the social enterprise that supports Neath Port Talbot’s Thrive Women’s Aid, has been awarded the contract to run the restaurant in Swansea Central Police station by South Wales Police. The contract will run for two years, with an option to extend, and is to provide staff and visitors to Swansea Central Police station hot and cold food and beverages during the working hours, as well as hosting events and themed menus. Lidl GB has confirmed that its new supermarket on Gorseinon Road in Penllergaer, Swansea will open for the first time on Thursday 24th November. A luxury caravan park on the Southern Snowdonia coast has been named the best in Wales in the AA Caravan and Camping Awards 2022-’23. Islawrffordd Caravan Park at Talybont, near Barmouth, owned and run by the Evans family since 1957, has won the prestigious award for the second time, having previously triumphed in 2012.
