The semi-finalists for the 14th British Kebab Awards have been revealed, with some of Wales’ best-loved kebab houses securing a place on the shortlist. Founded in 2013 by restaurateur and campaigner Ibrahim Dogus, the Awards celebrate the very best kebab restaurants and takeaways across the UK. Active enforcement of a new road safety scheme on the A4059 in the Cynon Valley is set to begin from Wednesday, October 1. A multi-agency operation arranged and led by Neath Port Talbot Council’s Trading Standards Team has led to the seizure of hundreds of cigarettes, tobacco, illegal vapes, toys and two vehicles.
