A flood warning has been issued for parts of Trostre, Llanelli, with Natural Resources Wales (NRW) advising residents and businesses to take immediate precautions. The warning covers the River Dafen around Trostre, including the Industrial Park, Lower Trostre Road and parts of Trostre Retail Park. River levels have already caused flooding on low-lying land and roads, and further disruption is expected. A 41-year-old man who shot an airgun at another man in Holyhead has been jailed. Tom Webster, of Victoria Terrace, Holyhead, appeared at Caernarfon Crown Court on Thursday 11 September where he admitted to wounding causing physical harm during an incident on 1 January 2023. Webster was on Victoria Terrace during the evening of 1 January 2023 when he shot his neighbour in the face with an airgun.
