Researchers at the University of South Wales (USW) who are part of a £2.5m consortium exploring the impact of the pandemic on BAME communities have shown some of their documentary films at an event in Westminster. Thrive Women’s Aid has won a £500,000 bid to The National Lottery Community Fund to improve victim experience and confidence in Neath Port Talbot in partnership with South Wales Police. Thousands of runners ensured the second instalment of the Healthspan Porthcawl 10K was well worth the wait as the race returned to the seaside resort after a three-year hiatus. The event returned with 4,500 entrants across the main 10K race and junior events as runners flooded the Esplanade.
