A public house in Aberaeron has been issued with a Fixed Penalty Notice of £1,000 for breaching the Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) (No.4) (Wales) Regulations 2020. The public house was seen by officers from the Public Protection Team to have been supplying alcohol and remaining open when prohibited under the Regulations. Following discussion with all of its schools, Denbighshire County Council has taken the decision to close all of its primary schools, special schools and pupil referral units from Wednesday (December 16) for face to face learning. The two day event became a Covid-19 pandemic casualty when it had to be cancelled this spring.
