Welsh Government has announced that, from today (Monday 22nd June), all outdoor sport and leisure facilities, with the exception of playgrounds and outdoor gyms, are allowed to open. The changes are part of a comprehensive package of measures being introduced step by step every Monday over the next three weeks. What could be one of the largest prehistoric sites in the UK has been discovered near Stonehenge by a consortium of archaeologists that includes geoarchaeologist, Dr Martin Bates from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. A massive 2km-wide ring of prehistoric pits up to 10m across and 5m deep has been discovered around the ‘super henge’ at Durrington Walls and the famous site at Woodhenge. Cardiff-based web design and digital marketing agency, WebBox, has invested in its first permanent premises, three times the size of its previous rented office, with the support of a £400,000 funding package from NatWest. WebBox has used the six-figure funding to purchase a 5000 sq ft office space on Ocean Way in Cardiff after outgrowing its former premises in Penarth. A special service has been launched to provide ‘telephone friends’ to residents during the coronavirus outbreak and beyond. Denbighshire County Council’s Telephone Befriending service has been set up to check on people’s welfare, offer them regular telephone friendship and alert them to support services.
