Anglesey Circuit gets the 2020 motorcycle racing season underway next weekend with a two-day Wirral 100 Motor Club meeting. In recent years this first race weekend of the year has comprised a day of testing on the Saturday and a race-day on Sunday. The US Soccer Federation have released a detailed document explaining the cancellation of matches in March and April, which includes Wales v USA on March 30 2020. A social care leader is urging people not to not to visit relatives living in care homes unless it’s “absolutely essential” so they can protect their loved ones from coronavirus. Mario Kreft MBE, the chair of Care Forum Wales, said care homes were “safe havens” for elderly and vulnerable people so it was vital to ensure the highest possible standards of infection control. Craig Y Parc School has opened a unique course for wheelchair users to learn road safety. At a special event, Councillor Daniel De’Ath, Lord Mayor of Cardiff visited the school to officially declare the facility open before taking a spin around the course in a motorised electric wheelchair. Multi-million pound plans to tackle fuel poverty while equipping over 10,000 homes across South West Wales with energy efficiency technology could soon take a major step forward. Each local authority in the Swansea Bay City Region is being asked to approve the submission of a Homes as Power Stations project business case to the City Deal’s Joint Committee for decision.
