BT has signed a deal to become the exclusive lead partner of Welsh football until 2024. The partnership will see the BT logo appear on all training kit worn by all Men’s, Women’s, Development and Disability Teams from November. Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) and Landsker Business Solutions have been appointed by the Development Bank of Wales to deliver £2 million of ring-fenced funding for social enterprises in Wales.  The funding comes from the Welsh Government-backed Wales Micro Loan Fund. From this £16.2 million fund the Development Bank is doubling the amount specifically for social enterprise businesses who will be able to apply for loans between £1,000 and £50,000 with up to ten-year repayment terms. Water purification from crustacean shells and new fibres from apple cores – Welsh sustainable technology firm Pennotec is leading the way in stopping what was once industrial food waste being sent to landfill. Dyslexia meant that Lynn struggled in school, but she refused to let that hold her back and has carved out a successful career by providing the level of guidance that she craved as a young learner. A North Wales micro-brewery with a range of vegan beers has bagged a top taste award at the British food and drink ‘Oscars’. Dovecote Brewery in Denbigh produces exclusively vegan-friendly beers at its Denbigh headquarters on Colomendy industrial estate. Among them is Dove Down Under, a 4.8 per cent strength ale made with New Zealand hops, which has just been awarded Two Stars at the Great Taste Awards, dubbed the British food and drink Oscars by the Daily Telegraph.
