Liz Spooner, a caring and dedicated Singleton Hospital nurse has sadly passed away. Liz was a registered nurse in Singleton Hospital for 41 years; predominantly working in the Coronary Care Unit and Ward 9. Jan Worthing, the hospital’s director, paid this tribute to Liz: “Liz has always given her all, delivering an excellent standard of care. The Football Association of Wales Board of Directors (the FAW Board) have ratified the recommendation of the National League Board and agreed to curtail the 2019/20 season for Tiers 1 to 4. The decision has been taken as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and in accordance with Welsh Government’s lockdown guidelines and measures.     The FAW Board took into consideration the health and safety of all those involved with these leagues. The new Welsh names of Hungary’s cities took the Hungarian media by storm after a Welsh-language map of the country emerged on social media. Leading Hungarian news portal Index.hu referred to the translations as ‘beautiful’, while news outlets across the country introduced their cities’ new Welsh names with pride. The map was published by Welsh-Hungarian information hub Magyar Cymru, who worked with train controller David Smith to translate the names of Hungarian cities including Szeged and Győr.
