Pregnant women across North Wales are giving up smoking thanks to a ground- breaking specialist service which is delivered in their own homes. As part of the NHS Help Me Quit for Baby project, run by the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, a dedicated team of smoking cessation advisors, who work solely with pregnant smokers, see women in their own homes for as many appointments as takes for them to quit. Robert Page, the current Wales under 21 manager will join Ryan Giggs’ coaching staff for the duration of the Euro 2020 qualifying campaign. Page will join Giggs and his assistant, Albert Stuivenberg, as a coach for the senior men’s national side, starting with the matches against Azerbaijan and Belarus next month. Joelle Drummond was inspired after her partner -and co-founder – Sarah McNena gave up drinking. Thousands of people flocking to the annual Pride Cymru Parade are getting helpful travel advice from Cardiff Bus. Staff at ASW Property Services, a property services specialist covering Wales, the Midlands and the South West of England, has raised over £1000 for the RNLI in memory of a colleague. Eight members of staff took part in the 34th annual Mumbles RNLI raft race alongside 26 other teams on 11th August. The team participated to honour the memory of their late colleague Glyn Harris, who sadly passed away recently, two weeks after being diagnosed with cancer.
