Next year in May, The Big Lunch, an idea for the Eden Project made possible by the National Lottery, will bring together a team of walkers to visit and shine a light on thriving community projects right across Wales and the UK. A STUDENT journeyed to Belgium and paid tribute to fallen soldiers with a stunning piece of artwork inspired by a college project. Rhiannon Ridding, from Sychdyn, visited the Menin Gate Memorial in Flanders after creating a wreath using old photographs of family members who died in the First World War. The Farmers’ Union of Wales has told Prime Minister Theresa May that while the EU Withdrawal deal would give Welsh farmers welcome breathing space, assurances were needed that Welsh agriculture would not lose out under a final deal after 2020. Four Young Leaders from Ceredigion have won a National Innovation Award for their work last year as Bronze Young Ambassadors. A Wales international rugby star has experienced an interview to remember from a Tenby rugby fan, answering questions on everything from his hidden talents to the smelliest feet in the changing rooms. Festive shoppers and Christmas party-goers are getting travel advice from Cardiff Bus as they prepare for the Christmas season. The operator is advising customers of timetable changes through the festive and new year period, which will see services altered between December 24 and January 1. Starting on Christmas Eve all services will follow a Saturday timetable, except for services 30, 98, H59 and X59 which will run a normal weekday service, with an early finish across all routes. Flintshire trailer maker is celebrating after playing a supporting role in the sixth straight victory in the World Rally Championship by French maestro Sebastian Ogier.
