Local charity, SEWREC Ltd is to be placed in liquidation, following a decision by the organisation’s trustees to cease trading.  The Board of Trustees instructed Insolvency Practitioners at accountancy firm, Menzies LLP, earlier this month to assist them in placing SEWREC into liquidation. Tesco and Volkswagen have teamed up to launch the UK’s largest retail electric vehicle charging network. The world’s biggest vehicle manufacturer and the nation’s largest fuel retailer are today (Friday, 30 November 2018) committing to installing almost 2,500 charging bays across up to 600 Tesco stores over the next three years. Barry-based LIGNIA® Wood Company, the British timber modification business, has signed its first major distribution agreement with USA-based Teakdecking Systems (TDS) for its LIGNIA Yacht product. The giant gingerbread house appeared magically overnight outside Cardiff Central Library to encourage more visitors to the city this December. Following calls from FSB Wales, Welsh Government has committed to new funding for business rates relief ahead of Small Business Saturday on 1st December.
