Nursing staff are taking a wound clinic into the community as part of a new Leg Club in the Rhondda. The Lindsay Leg Club Foundation supports leg clubs around the UK with the aim of providing community-based treatment, and care for people of all age groups who suffer with leg-related problems. FSB Wales has launched a major new initiative calling for commitment to new thinking on how we deliver sustainable, long-term solutions for our Welsh towns. Minister for Culture, Tourism and Sport, Lord Elis-Thomas, has announced £4 million of European Funding for a new Wales International Coastal Centre in Saundersfoot. An investment of more than £1 million is creating two new specialist facilities at Morriston Hospital. It will be used for patients suspected of having infectious respiratory diseases such as pulmonary tuberculosis.
