An iconic Welsh beer that made a remarkable comeback is celebrating after landing its biggest ever export orders with major deals in China and France. Wrexham Lager was served on the ill-fated Titanic which sank in 1912 after hitting an iceberg in the Atlantic on its maiden voyage. In just three months, the B Active programme has attracted 700 new participants, providing young people in Newport with regular access to sport. This early success was celebrated just yesterday, Tuesday 31st July, at the inaugural B Active summer showcase event. Taking place at Newport’s renowned International Sports Sentre, over 200 young people and volunteers came together in a celebration of sport and community. Car insurance brand Veygo, owned by Admiral Insurance, created the Festival Sound Trip to help music lovers travelling to festivals automatically create personalised Spotify playlists based on their festival destination and favourite acts. Principality Building Society has announced good half-year results as the strategy of growing its core mortgage and savings business continues to deliver.  Its net residential mortgage lending increased by £340.3m in the first six months of this year, bringing total assets to £9.6bn.   To support the growth in its lending the Society grew its savings by £309.3m. Its savings products have maintained its position as one of the best and most competitive on the High Street.
