Wales exported more than £470m worth of goods to Ireland in the final quarter of 2018, according to new data released by Welsh Government. Detectives searching for missing graduate Tapiwa Matuwi have issued CCTV footage of his last known movements. Twenty-one-year-old Tapi, as he is known, went missing in the early hours of Thursday, February 7, following a night out in Swansea city centre. The footage begins with Tapi, who is 6ft, with distinctive black and orange hair, entering McDonalds on Oxford Street with a friend. He is later captured outside McDonalds heading towards Caer Street, New Cut Road and near Sainsbury’s on Quay Parade. A man has been charged and two teenagers cautioned following two separate incidents on the pitch at the Swansea v Manchester City game yesterday. Harry Eccles, 21, from Conwy, North Wales, has been charged with going onto the playing area at a football match and is due to appear at Swansea Magistrates’ Court on April 2. A 15-year-old Bury and 16-year-old from Swansea also arrested for pitch encroachment have received youth cautions. Wales and British Lions rugby star George North took a break from his busy Six Nations schedule to congratulate Rhondda-based Police Youth Volunteers this week. The in-form North accepted an invitation to present awards at this year’s High Sheriff of Mid Glamorgan Youth Community Awards which took place at Pencoed College on Wednesday, 13 March, 2019. Three youth volunteers attended the event on behalf of 15 members who belong to the Rhondda branch. The family of a man found dead following a garage fire in Rhos, Pontardawe, have paid tribute to a loving father and husband. Mark Logan, 31, from Godre’r Graig, was found deceased at the scene on Delffordd shortly after 3am on Sunday, March 10th.
