Cardiff and vale College Sport student Kathryn Titley has been selected to represent Wales in netball. UWTSD academic, Dr Harriett Webster, has been awarded a British Academy grant from the Neil Ker Memorial Fund to pursue her research on medieval Welsh rebel, William Cragh. M-SParc (Menai Science Park) on Anglesey celebrates its first anniversary in March with a reflection on a year of innovation and economic development. CARDIFF’S Cancer Research UK superstore was officially opened by six-year-old kidney cancer survivor, Darcy Stone, earlier today.   The superstore is the biggest Cancer Research UK shop in Wales and the charity’s second largest store in the UK. Located on Newport Road, the 8,000sq ft store is more than eight times the size of a traditional Cancer Research UK shop and all the profits will fund the charity’s life-saving research. The UK Government has refused to share its assessment of the impact of Brexit on energy prices, the Welsh Government has revealed. Questioned about fuel poverty by Labour’s Joyce Watson at the Senedd on Tuesday (19 Feb), energy minister Lesley Griffiths said the UK Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has assessed the likely scale of price increases after Brexit – but has not shared that information with Wales.
