Monmouthshire is celebrating its tenth anniversary of being named Top Food Destination in Wales. Food tourism is particularly important to the county with expenditure on food and drink by visitors estimated to have been worth £37.5m of the total £190m revenue generated by tourism in Monmouthshire in 2016 (according to STEAM).
