South Wales Police are appealing for information to help trace a missing 15-year-old girl. Shyla was last seen on Friday, 13 September, in Drury, Flintshire. It is now believed that she may be in South Wales. She is described as being around 5ft tall, of average build, with dyed red hair. When last seen, she was wearing grey jogging bottoms, a brown woollen hoodie and white trainers. Shyla has known connections to Barry, Penarth and Cardiff Bay. Reform UK has won its first seat on Cardiff Council, comfortably gaining the Trowbridge ward in a by-election held on 18 September 2025. The seat became vacant after former Labour councillor Chris Lay resigned, having moved to Telford, Shropshire for work. Edward Topham stood for Reform UK and secured 1,142 votes, about 40 per cent of the vote, enough to take the seat.
