An Aberystwyth University graduate from Carmarthenshire has won the Farmers Weekly award for the best agriculture student in Britain. The Farmers Weekly Awards are the most prestigious in the agriculture industry, recognising farmers’ achievements across the country. Logan Williams, who has graduated with a first-class degree in agriculture with animal science from Aberystwyth University, beat other students to the coveted award for best agriculture student. When she first met her foster carers – her tail did not stop wagging. And that sums up Bea to a tea – one happy little girl. Despite her past – where she was removed from a filthy property which smelt of cat urine and had faeces on the floor – she has never failed to greet anyone without a wag of the tail. Swansea University’s Egypt Centre is set to revamp and improve its House of Death gallery after securing the support from the Cultural Transformation Capital Grant Programme. A 38-year-old man has been jailed after sexually assaulting a teenager in July last year. Terrance Lloyd, of no fixed abode, appeared at Llandudno Magistrates Court on Friday October 4th after being found guilty of sexual assault. On July 2nd 2023, Lloyd followed a 13-year-old girl into her home in Bangor where he slapped her on the bum. Despite the victim telling him to stop, he continued to ask her for her phone number even after she told him her age. He was jailed for 44 weeks. He must also register with the police for a period of seven years.…
