Over £12m of grants will be awarded in 2025-26 to a range of organisations to support curriculum priorities, including extra funding for literacy and numeracy projects. Policing teams will be on patrol in nightlife hotspots this winter to target crime and anti-social behaviour associated with the Christmas and New Year period.
