A consignment of Easter eggs will help struggling families celebrate the holiday weekend along the North Wales coast thanks to a local community group. The Hummingbird Project, has just taken delivery of 100 of the chocolate treats from Denbigh-based storage giant Lock Stock Self Storage and they’ll soon be winging their way out for the Easter weekend. A Tesco shopper showed they had a heart of gold when they voted for Cancer Support UK to receive £5,000 to help Swansea’s children. Last Saturday, customers in Swansea were given the chance to take part in a lucky dip to find a specially created gold version of Tesco’s iconic blue voting token. Sixty five organisations secured funding from the latest round of the Direct Food Support Grant which is funded by Welsh Government and administered by Swansea Council.
