    Pembrokeshire Sustainable Communities Fund open for applications

    Charities, community groups and other social enterprises are among those who still have a chance of benefiting from UK Shared Prosperity Funding.

    Pembrokeshire County Council is calling for those that may benefit from the Pembrokeshire Sustainable Communities Fund to apply.

    The UK Shared Prosperity Funding is financed by the UK Government under the Levelling Up Programme.

    The invitation for applications has reopened with grants of £10,000 to £100,000 for new projects available.

    There is up to £1million committed to the fund and13 projects in Pembrokeshire have already benefited.

    The Pembrokeshire Sustainable Communities Fund supports the development and creation activities linked to tackling poverty, accessing services, environment and green infrastructure and community engagement.

    There is also a focus on volunteering opportunities and Festivals, Events, Local Arts, Cultural and Heritage Activities

    Expressions of interest must be submitted using the Pembrokeshire County Council form and applications submitted by email to [email protected]

    Expressions of interest must be submitted by 11:59pm on Monday, 27th November 2023. Applications received after this will not be accepted.

    Cabinet Member for Corporate Improvement and Communities Cllr Neil Prior said: “This is another opportunity for local groups to secure funding for a wide range of projects that will improve local communities – and I’d encourage groups to submit their applications as soon as possible.”
