Emergency services are continuing to work at the scene of an explosion on Clydach Road in Morriston that occurred around 11.20am this morning. Three people have been taken to hospital by ambulance. A record breaking 293 talented young people from Wales have been awarded medals for their successes at this year’s Skills Competition Wales awards. Swansea-based kidney charity, Popham Kidney Support, recently unveiled a new charity patron: Swansea City FC legend, Lee Trundle. Trundle played for Swansea City FC between 2003 and 2007, and now serves as club ambassador and youth team coach. A chef from Pembrokeshire has been named one of the best pizza makers in the world after winning big at the Campionato del Mondo di Pizza, the Pizza World Championships, held in Rimini, Italy last month.
