The M4 at Junction 37 in Pyle has fully reopened following an earlier collision that led to the road being closed in both directions. South Wales Police confirmed the update after emergency services attended the scene and diversions were put in place for several hours. A 20-year-old man has been jailed following his conviction for multiple sexual offences involving a teenage girl. Morgan Lewis-Williams, of Weston Road, Rhyl, appeared for sentencing at Mold Crown Court earlier yesterday (Tuesday, 3 February). He was charged with causing/inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, and two counts of making indecent images of a child. The defendant had previously admitted all of the offences, which involved a 14-year-old female victim. A landmark policy to help reduce deaths and harm from excess alcohol use will be extended in Wales, following a vote in the Senedd. Members of the Senedd today passed regulations to continue the minimum pricing for alcohol policy and to increase the minimum unit price from 50p to 65p – bringing it into line with the rate in Scotland.
