Principality Building Society has surpassed £2 million in grants with the launch of its fifth Future Generations Fund to empower young people alongside the second Retrofit for the Future Fund to strengthen community facilities across Wales. A South Wales Police led operation has seen over 100 illegal e-bikes seized from the streets of Cardiff, making town centres safer this summer. Following concerns in the community and local intelligence, the local Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) applied for and received additional funding from Police and Crime Commissioner to tackle the issue in Canton and Cathays. The multi-agency operation between police, Cardiff Council, and Immigration, had eight operations deployed throughout August, aimed at tackling anti-social behaviour. A woman has sadly died following a collision on the A55 at Ewloe, Deeside, on Monday 1stSeptember. North Wales Police officers attended the area following a report of a single vehicle collision at around 10.45am.
