A Swansea city centre businessman is praising the on-going transformation of Wind Street into a more family-friendly destination. Bruno Nunes, Chief Executive of the Creative Hospitality Group, says the quality of the outdoor spaces now being created there will soon benefit the city centre as a whole. His company runs three businesses on Wind Street – Peppermint, Bambu and BrewDog – as well as BrewStone in the Uplands area of Swansea. Local residents are being urged to help shape the next Well-Being Plan for Pembrokeshire. The Pembrokeshire Public Services Board (PSB) is currently assessing the well-being of local people and communities in the County. This is a requirement under the Well-being of Future Generations Act which encourages people to work together to tackle some of the ‘big long-term issues’ to improve well-being. Bridgend County Borough Council is looking into the provision of a new youth hub in Bridgend town centre. Initial plans involve a multi-purpose facility at Evergreen Hall, next to the council’s Civic Offices.
