Regional firms across Wales and the United Kingdom face growing pressures to modernise their daily commercial operations. Upgrading corporate digital infrastructure helps small and medium enterprises compete effectively with larger national brands. Investing in robust network infrastructure sets up a strong foundation for long-term regional development, digital inclusion, and economic resilience. The Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 marked a landmark shift in the way care and support are delivered across Wales. Rather than focusing solely on services provided to individuals, the legislation places well-being, independence and personal choice at the centre of decision-making. It encourages a more person-centred approach to care, recognising that people should have greater control over how support is delivered and where it takes place. These principles continue to shape conversations about the future of social care in Wales. As wider discussions continue around how social care services should evolve across Wales, there is growing recognition…

Subsequent research has extended the evidence base to joint comfort, nail strength, and hair quality. For…

An increasing number of people in Wales are now receiving care in their own homes through hourly home care visits, domiciliary care services or full-time live-in care arrangements. This shift reflects not only changing personal preferences, but also a growing recognition that many elderly…
