RSPCA Cymru is appealing for information to try and track the owner of a cat with an injured eye found in Treorchy. The ginger and white cat was found by a member of the public in the Dilys Street area who called the RSPCA due to concerns about his eye. The cat has been taken into the care of the RSPCA for treatment with the animal welfare charity now hoping to track his owner. Unfortunately the unneutered cat has no microchip or collar. New emergency childcare arrangements for essential workers will come into effect from Monday, March 30 – and Rhondda Cynon Taf residents and employees must re-apply by Friday to take advantage of it. The Welsh Government has announced a support package for businesses listed on the business rates register to help them through the Coronavirus crisis. The new package includes a year-long business rates holiday for retail, leisure and hospitality businesses in Wales for example shops, pubs and restaurants, gyms, performance venues and hotels. The scheme will apply to all eligible business ratepayers with a rateable value of £500,000 or less.
