Six people are in custody on suspicion of conspiring to supply Class A drugs following further raids by Tarian, the regional organised crime unit for southern Wales. Warrants were executed at a number of a addresses in Cardiff, Haverfordwest, and Liverpool yesterday morning (Wednesday, February 5), with the assistance of colleagues from South Wales, Dyfed Powys and Merseyside Police. Community campaigners determined to make their town the greenest in Wales are celebrating a National Lottery grant worth almost £10,000 to help tackle climate change. South Denbighshire Community Partnership (SDCP) is one of 30 organisations in Wales to receive a grant from The National Lottery Climate Action Fund worth £9,655 to boost efforts to reduce their carbon footprint and protect the environment. Seventy people were subject to stop and search under a Section 60 notice in Cardiff at the weekend. The notice was put in place with the aim of preventing serious violence, to find dangerous instruments or to apprehend anyone carrying weapons.
