Wales’ share of the volume of equity deals in the UK is 3% and relatively close to its share of the UK’s economy, says research unit, Economic Intelligence Wales (EIW) in its latest report about equity clusters in Wales. The report concludes that although Cardiff is an emerging equity cluster, more needs to be done to develop the demand for equity across Wales and in more sectors. A new eco-friendly police station that’s been kitted out with upcycled furniture and has a host of energy-saving features has been hailed as the greenest in the UK. A new pet health report released by Welsh pet food producer Burns Pet Nutrition has highlighted a worrying insight into the minds of UK pet owners with findings showing that over a third of dog owners are ignoring significant red flags in their pet’s health, and that overfeeding could be a major issue.
