A pure water supplier for window cleaners, car valeting businesses and even tropical fish owners has launched its first service in Wales on a Saltney storage park. A major scheme that will see Penderyn Distillery expand into part of Swansea’s historic Hafod Morfa Copperworks site has been given listed building consent and planning permission. A Pembrokeshire holiday park, Bonville’s Court Country Park, has secured a six-figure finance package from HSBC UK to develop a new luxury spa and holiday let in Saundersfoot. The family-owned business will use the funding to develop a derelict colliery, originally built on the site in 1840, into a luxury spa suite. The upgrades to the park, due to complete in March 2019, will include building two new two-bedroom cottages and a modern penthouse suite to meet rising demand from couples for short stay breaks. South Wales Police Officers have been dealing with an incident in the Geiriol Road, Townhill area of Swansea. A call to was made to South Wales Police at 16:21 hours on Tuesday 12 February 2019  by a man who was threatening to harm himself. Following lengthy negotiations officers gained entry to the address and detained the man for his safety. Residents who as a precaution were temporarily displaced from neighbouring houses have since returned. South Wales police would like to thank them for the understanding they have shown during the incident.
