Openreach volunteers have gone the extra mile on Ynys Môn by swapping their hard hats and fibre splicers for paint brushes and shovels to help refurbish the local community hall in the rural village of Llangoed. THE largest provider of carer services in Wales unveiled new headquarters following a surge in demand. The move comes after NEWCIS (North East Wales Carers Information Service) doubled its workforce post-pandemic while receiving more than 100 carer referrals a week from Wrexham, Flintshire and Denbighshire. Richard David Williams, 34, of Ewloe, Flintshire appeared before Mold Magistrates Court last week (Friday, August 9th) charged with malicious communications. This followed the posting of material on a social media site, and was connected with the ongoing national tensions, where Williams encouraged others to engage in riots.
